Ontario Minor Field Lacrosse League Awards
BOBBY ALLAN Coach of the Year :
To be awarded to the Coach whose unselfish motivations are demonstrated by the dedication of their efforts by teaching and promoting the game of Field Lacrosse as well as sportsmanship
LAURIE MONTGOMERY Memorial Award: (player, coach, parent, volunteer, referee)
To be awarded to the individual (player, coach, parent, volunteer, referee) involved with Ontario Minor Field Lacrosse whose unselfish motivations are demonstrated by the dedication of their efforts by teaching and promoting sportsmanship through his/her hard work and dedication.
RYAN HABER Memorial Award: (Midget)
To be awarded to the Midget Player demonstrating high proficiency in the game of Field Lacrosse, through his/her hard work, dedication and determination.
Rick “Tuggy” Passfield Memorial Award: (Peewee Goalie)
To be awarded to the Peewee Goalie demonstrating the most potential in the game of Field Lacrosse, through his/her hard work, dedication and determination.
TED SAWICKI Award: (graduating midget defensive player)
To be awarded to the Graduating Midget Defensive Player demonstrating high proficiency in Field lacrosse as well as sportsmanship.
STAN COCKERTON Award: (graduating midget offensive player)
To be awarded to the Graduating Midget Offensive Player demonstrating high proficiency in Field lacrosse as well as sportsmanship.
COMMISSIONER’S Award: (volunteer): Nominated by the OMFLL Commissioner
To be awarded to the Volunteer whose unselfish motivations are demonstrated by their dedication and determination of continually promoting and bettering the game of Field Lacrosse throughout the years.
Section 3: Process and Selection of Individual Awards
A: Assistant Zone Commissioners to distribute nomination forms for Midget awards to all Midget Coaches by the first week of play to be returned by June 30th of that year to the Commissioner.
B: Assistant Zone Commissioners to distribute nomination forms to all Coaches by the first week of play of play to be returned by June 30th of that year to the Commissioner.
C: The Commissioner to distribute nomination forms for Commissioner's Award to all Council members by the OMFLL pre-season meeting to be returned by June 30th of that year to the Commissioner.
D: Commissioner and Assistant Zone Commissioners will review all applications and select recipients for presentation at the annual O.L.A. Annual General Meeting.
E:Commissioner will notify recipients
